FINANCE DEPARTMENT: Functions •  Responsibility for formulation of financial procurement and supplies policies and procedures for the Authority. •  Advising the board of directors on financial standards. •  Ensuring that policies, and procedures are followed strictly by the Authority Staff. •  Ensuring that the Authority Annual accounts are prepared in time. •  Provide Secretarial services to the budget committee where all sectoral budgets presented by the projects and departments are discussed and finalised. •  Responsible for authorizing all payments, under the delegated powered from the M.D as the accounting officer.
